This test kit is sold under the Albagia, Hydrosense, Lovibond, Orbeco-Hellige, or Tintomere brand names.
The Hydrosense Legionella pneumophila Syringe Single Test Kit allows you to do a single iteration of the test on a water sample. This is a rapid test, yielding results within 30-35 minutes.
This kit is a scaled down version of the Hydrosense Legionella System (Industrial) Test Kit. It provides you with one test iteration. If you want more detailed technical information refer to the store page for that product since it is not all repeated here.

This test is used to detect the presence of Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 bacteria in water samples from a wide range of sources. The test operates via a Lateral Flow Immunochromatagraphic Assay (LFICA).
Each kit contains the following:
- 1 individual foil wrapped LFICA test (containing exact volume pipette).
- 1 Hollow fibre filter
- 1 Syringe with recovery buffer
- 1 sample collection bottle
- 1 60ml Syringe (Luer Lock)
This test is intended for the analysis of water samples only. It is not intended for the diagnostic testing in a clinical or medical situation for the detecting of legionnaires disease in humans.
The product is intended for use as part of the overall water treatment management and risk reduction approach and should not be used as the sole method for assessing risks associated with Legionella bacteria.
