Total by: EDTA titration (includes inhibitors to prevent metal interference)
Potential interferences: Aluminum >10 ppm, cadmium >10 ppm, cobalt >10 ppm, Copper >1 ppm; iron >10 ppm, manganese >1 ppm, nickel .0.1 ppm, polyphosphate >10 ppm, zinc >10 ppm, and total alkalinity >1100 ppm CaCO3. TA greater than 1100 ppm can be treated by lowering the pH to 7.0 before adding the buffer.
1 drop = 2 or 10 ppm CaCO3.
