Salt Brine Plastic Plain Form Hydrometer
This is a Plastic Salometer (Hydrometer for Brine). It can be used for testing water softener brine solutions (26.4%) or for cooking applications where brine strength needs to be checked.
This comes in 3 different scales:
- 0-80% % by Salt Saturation in increments of 1% with an accuracy of ±1%.
- 10-100% % by Salt Saturation in increments of 1% with an accuracy of ±1%.
- 4-26.5% % by weight in increments of 0.2% with an accuracy of ±0.2%.
There is also an optional Glass Cylinder for Hydrometer, 300 mL for holding a sample solution for testing.

Applications
Perfect for field work where breakage could be a concern. Used for measuring sodium chloride saturation of salt brines in industries including food, fishing, and transportation, they are available in models to measure various levels of salt content from 0% to 100%.

Polycarbonate hydrometers are not recommended for use with petroleum-based liquids or other corrosives that would potentially affect the plastic material. They should be stored in a clean, dry, safe place and should not be subjected to extreme temperatures
