Our SCS-3600-S Solid Closed System WaterSTX product contains higly alkaline material for cleaning new systems. This product should be fed at the rate of 1 stick per 50 gallons of water volume. Follow manufacturer suggested cleanout/boil-out procedure. pH may increase to excessive levels. Care should be taken to avoid contact with copper at high pH levels
