Our VCI-FE Lay Up Powder contains Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors to protect a boiler during a dry storage or other ferrous metals in any enclosed space. This product is completely soluble in water and can also be used as a corrosion inhibitor for hydro-testing a boiler. The powder formulation is free of phosphates, heavy metals, and nitrites. Dosage of this product along with other selected products can be found in the Boiler Calculator  on the Resource Page of this web site.

This product is ideally suited for doing a dry lay up on smaller boilers such as the Fulton Vertical Tube Boiler or the Kurita Boiler. These boilers typically do not have a man hole into which you can place a Boiler Lizard.
